Cam Bird is a Guitar Instructor, Published Author, Recording Artist, Producer, and Composer from Melbourne Australia. Thats the official "tag line" but there's a lot that that wont tell you about what we do.

So here's my story:

The mission

We set out to make a difference in the education of Guitar players. To go against the grain, question the status quo and develop systems and solutions so that aspiring Guitarists can develop a positive relationship with music and the Guitar that lasts a lifetime.

We set out to help people get unstuck. To take them away from poor sources of education and knowledge, average teachers and educators and to make a difference to someone's experience of learning and playing the Guitar.

We also set out to spread the power of music. To help it reach, engage and touch more people through our actions and to help facilitate its ability to transform students and their immediate circles of influence for the better.

We also set out to help establish a better cultural understanding of the importance of music in society. That it is a lifestyle and can have a lasting impact on someone's life, wellness (mentally, emotionally and physiologically) and help enhance their life for the better with the lifeskills an instrument teaches you (patience, discipline, commitment, fortitude, resilience, respect and humility)..
