How It Works:

Your Weekly Learning Cycle

Our Hybrid Program operates on a simple, effective weekly cycle, ensuring continuous progress and personalized attention.

Step 1: Your Weekly Video Submissions

Each week, you'll record and submit two short videos to me. These videos are crucial for me to understand your progress, challenges, and to provide the most effective feedback.

1. "Week in Review" Video:

This is your opportunity to communicate directly with me about your learning journey.
Share any challenges you encountered, questions that arose during your practice, your wins (big or small!), and your general outlook on your guitar playing for the week.
This video helps me tailor my instruction to your specific needs and mindset.
Keep this video ideally 2 minutes in length. Short, sharp and concise is what we are after so we can be effective.

2. "Homework/Tasks" Video:

Record yourself performing the assigned exercises, songs, techniques, or tasks from the previous week's lesson.
This allows me to observe your playing directly, identify areas for improvement, and see how you're applying the concepts we're working on.
Keep this video under 5 mins in length, ideally 2 minutes. Short, sharp and concise is what we are after so we can be effective.
Submission Deadline: (You will set a consistent day/time for submissions, e.g., "Please submit both videos by Sunday 5:00 PM AEST each week.")

Step 2: Personalized Feedback & Weekly Plan

After I receive and thoroughly review your two videos, I will create and send you your personalized lesson package for the week.

1. Personalized Feedback & Review Video:

I'll create a dedicated video addressing both of your submissions.
This video will provide detailed feedback on your playing, offer constructive criticism, provide corrections for technique or understanding, and help keep you accountable to your goals. It's like having me right there with you!

2. Weekly Tasks & Focus Video:

You'll receive a second video outlining your new tasks, exercises, and specific areas to focus on for the upcoming week.
This ensures you have a clear roadmap for your practice, keeping your learning structured and progressive.

3. Supporting Materials:

Along with your two personalized videos, I will include any relevant exercises, guitar tabs, sheet music, backing tracks, or other supplementary materials that will help you master your weekly tasks.

Delivery Time: We will set a consistent turnaround time that works with your schedule, Submissions usually occur Start or Midweek with a review happening within 48hrs of your submission.

Your Guitar: Acoustic or electric, ready to play!
Recording Device: A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone capable of recording clear video and audio.
Internet Connection: A reliable connection for uploading your videos and downloading your lesson packages.
A Practice Space: A comfortable and quiet area where you can focus on your guitar.
A YouTube Account: You simply upload your videos into YouTube and send them through as unlisted videos.
Bonus points if you have Guitar Pro software as well (a worthwhile investment).
